Saturday's Wedding

Keeping with our new Saturday's Wedding tradition (we got a little off track there for a few weeks), today we bring you a fairytale Ottawa wedding produced by Marry Me Productions. What swept me with this wedding was the bride's hair, isn't it gorgeous?  And her one-of-a-kind Vera Wang dress.   The wedding took place at the Canadian Museum of Civilization which overlooks the City of Ottawa, a perfect setting for their out-of-town guests.  Visit Style Me Pretty for all the beautiful images and details of this elegant affair.

Saturday's Wedding: Jess + TJ

If you happened by 100 Layer Cake this month you may have seen this rustic handmade wedding in Colorado of Jess + TJ's!  From their hoedown and rehearsal dinner to their incredible ceremony, I thought it's handmade touch was a perfect  wedding to bring here for our new Saturday Weddings post.  I loved her idea as part of their response card that they asked their guests to send a piece of fabric and then the bride, Jess pieced together the quilt and had a local quilter do heart embroidery on top to finish it off.  See it wrapped around them in the rain?  And speaking of rain, check out that incredible double rainbow that showed up at the end of their ceremony.  Pretty amazing!  See more pics and details (including DIYs) from this wedding over at 100 Layer Cake.

Saturday's Wedding

Wedding's always get me, and I thought for a sometimes new Saturday column, I'd post about one or two that have caught my eye.  This one I just couldn't resist.  From the viewmaster invites to the nostalgic souvenirs and romantic road trip-inspired design; this concept has got to be one of my favourites I've seen so far.
